Songbird Prairie Bed & Breakfast
We were married at nearby Aberdeen Manor in Valpo. Our family gifted us a night at Songbird Prairie after our reception so we wouldn’t have to stay at a regular hotel. Everything was wonderful! My husband picked up our key prior to the regular check-in time since we would be arriving after hours. The Bluebird Suite was so beautiful when we arrived; it exceeded the photos on the website. Candy, chocolate-covered strawberries, and sparkling cider were waiting for us to snack on in our suite. We especially appreciated the lighted whirlpool tub to relax in after a very long day. The breakfast we had the next morning was fantastic! We enjoyed sitting in the sunny breakfast room and its expansive views of the property and woods. It was so relaxing and quiet, which was much appreciated after all of the wedding hubub over the prior two days. We were too full to eat our warm apple pie at the end of the meal so Barbara packed it up “to go.” It is obvious that Efrain and Barbara pay attention to detail and care about providing their guests an exceptional experience. We would stay there again without question.
